Meetings are in the Student Services Conference Room (by Registration) from 4:15 PM to 5:30 PM. The next meeting dates are:

Annual Meadow Park Clean-up/Picnic

Post fireworks park clean-up/picnic at Meadow Park in Elkton, MD. Thias event is FREE, but we ask that you bring something to contribute to the picnic. We begin the clean-up at 8 AM and the picnic starts at 11 AM. Fun and fellowship for all. This event is open to any chapter, friends, and family to attend.

2008 Annual Middle States Regional Hershey Park Picnic

The 2008 Middle States Hershey Park Picnic will be Friday, August 1st. A day of fun and fellowship for Middle States Phi Theta Kappa members, alumni, and their friends and families. The price of your tickets include admission to the park from 10 am to 11 pm and lunch at the Trail Blazer Pavilion from noon until 2 pm. Parking at the park is extra and not included in the ticket price.

Deadline for registration for this event is July 18th, so please see Miss Jane, Steve Snyder, or Andy Davis for more information. This event is not covered by the chapter, you must pay for your own tickets.

2008 Hershey Park Middle States Ticket Prices:
Children 2 and under FREE
Children ages 3 - 8 $37.00
Members $40.00
Non-Members over age 8 $42.00

Please have your registration and money to Miss Jane by July 10th to get it turned into the Region by July 18th. The registration form can be found on the Middle States Regional Website at www.ptkms.org under the link marked "2008 Heshey Park Registration Forms" on the front page of the site.



Former Chapter President Voted as New Middle States Regional President

Chapter President, Steve Snyder, attended the 22nd Regional/90th International Convention in Philadelphia, PA April 2nd - 5th. V.P. of Service, Tonya Dean-Catlett, V.P. of Scholarship, Chris Jackson, Webmaster (and Former Chapter President) Andy Davis, and Member (and S.G.A. President) Zack Rothwell joined Steve and Advisor, Jane Sharrow at the convention.

During the Convention, AAT won several awards at the regional level including Laura Styles for Distinguished Chapter Member, The Scholarship Hallmark, Leadership Hallmark, Five-Star Award, and the Four Leaf Clover Award. Our Advisor, Miss Jane Sharrow, won the Distinguished Chapter Advisor Award at the international level.

Also during the Convention, Andy Davis, added another first for Cecil in the Region when he won the Regional Elections and became the 2008-2009 Middle States Regional President. The Regional Officers Team also consists of: Don Cooke from Anne Arundel won Maryland, Nicky Singer from Raritan Valley won New Jersey, and Rich Jiosne from Northampton won Pennsylvania.
