About Alpha Alpha Theta

About Alpha Alpha Theta

Alpha Alpha Theta is the Cecil College Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society for the Two Year College!

Alpha Alpha Theta is the Cecil College (located in North East, Maryland) Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society for the Two Year College! Alpha Alpha Theta is a part of the Middle States Region servicing Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.

2005-2006 Chapter President, Sarah Crouse, and a young team member at the Elkton High School during the 2006 Relay-For-Life.
The Alpha Alpha Theta chapter follows the four Hallmarks of Phi Theta Kappa: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Fellowship. Our chapter helps to share these Hallmarks with the campus, local community, and the region through different events such as: discussions on the Honor Study Topic (2006-2008's topic is "Gold, Gods, and Glory: The Global Dynamics Of Power" and the 2008-2010 topic will be "The Paradox of Affluence: Choices, Challenges, and Consequences"), service projects like park clean-ups and tree planting as part of the 2006-2008 service project of "Operation Green" and Relay-For-Life, and leadership workshops, all while adding fellowship into every activity as best we can.
