to start of a new semester we have a new enhanced membership program to encourage people to get more involved in the chapter.
Benefits
- Members will; be listed at their level of achievement on the chapter website
- Recommendation letters from the chapter will contain the members level of achievement
- All participants will receive a certificate at the end of the program
- Bronze members will receive a gift item from the chapter
- Silve members will receive their gold stole free
- Gold members will receive an additional premium to be decided by the membership, based on financial state of the chapter at the time of the award

Policies of the program
- The program will run from August 1, 2009 to June30, 2010
- Hours will be tracked and posted via the grade book function on Blackboard
- 50% of earned hours must be in activities other than business meetings
- Members and officers may request credit for up to 5 hours a month for planning and other activities related to chapter business completed outside of chapter activities
- Silver and Gold members must have participated in activities related to at least 2 of the 3 hallmarks; Scholarship, Service, Leadership
- Stoles will be awarded in time for members to wear them at graduation. All other awards will be presented at the chapter's annual summer picnic in July.
- Members earning a free membership must complete the 12 hours for their membership to be paid
- in addition to the hours required for enhanced membership to receive those awards
